This won’t be the first time you are hearing about celebrities shedding their clothes to save animals. Well PETA has managed to get hotties out of their clothes and into their ad campaigns. Making the world a better place for animals just got a whole lot sexier. Now U.S. Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard is taking it off for the organization with the teaser, “Be Comfortable in Your Own Skin. Don’t Wear Fur.” Amanda posed nude to help raise awareness of the cruelty to animals within the fur industry.

Miley Cyrus seems to be in the news for all the wrong reasons lately. After a series of her revealing pics hit the Internet, the 16 year old actress/singer has been trying to clean up her ‘Lindsay Lohan’ act. She is in the news yet again and this time she has been pulled into the spotlight by fellow singer Jojo, whose R&B number “Leave (get out)” topped the charts in 2004. Jojo claims the lead role Miley is currently playing on Disney show ‘Hannah Montana’ had first been offered to her, but had turned it down because she was more intent solely on a music career.

The latest controversy raging in the entertainment world is that revolving around L’Oreal and Beyonce Knowles. Popular newspaper The New York Post has brought in the charges claiming that the company has attempted to alter the singer’s complexion, giving her an almost blond look in a recent advertisement. Seven years back Beyonce signed on the dotted line making it clear she would not allow for any alterations to be made to her appearance. L’Oreal, however, had no such intention and took a step further to ‘whitewash’ Beyonce’s skin. The New York Post called the entire incident ’shocking’ and garnered the support of many who joined in the protests.

Things couldn’t have gotten worse for Morgan Freeman, the acclaimed Oscar winning actor. Freeman was already going through a rocky phase in his marriage to Myrna Colley-Lee, a costume designer for theater and their divorce proceedings are still pending. If that was not enough, he had a car crash and had to be admitted with fractures. However, things looked brighter as he was released Thursday from the hospital but the divorce is still looming and is being handled by friend Bill Luckett. Meanwhile, Freeman will have to wear a neck brace and recovery could take several months. Freeman loves playing golf and may have to wait a while before he can hit the golf course again. Old age and separation is traumatic enough and add to that a car-crash, it just proves sometimes life can be such a misery when you grow old.

Britney Spears is all set to turn herself into an aggressive lesbian stripper, but only in reel life. Renowned filmmaker Quentin Tarantino of Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill fame, has zeroed in on this defamed pop star to play the role of Varla, a mentally troubled striptease dancer in his remake of Faster Pussycat!Kill!Kill! that had hit the box offices way back in 1965.

The character of Varla,who was played by Tura Satana in the earlier version, had been portrayed as a leader of a group of three violent strippers and was shown to murder a man. Tarantino is apparently quite confident about casting Britney in his film as a protagonist and he reportedly hopes that she can prove him right. He is now on his way to convince two other hot Hollywood lasses to complete the cast of the trio in his film. Britney, no wonder, is eager to give her best, especially since she doesn’t have much on her plate now. Hope this turns out to be a turning point in her apparently downhill career.

Sources reveal that the white heart tattoo that Lohan sported between her thumb and index finger, when she was head over heels in love with her ex Harry Morton, way back in July 2006, has been now inked in black. Following her example, Ronson too has got a similar tattoo done on her left hand. But its not just matching hearts for the couple. The red stars that Ronson is known to flaunt on her right arm has been aptly replicated by Lohan as well. That does make a great way to express love for each other!

It seems that Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson is angry with the media because of the news story about the ‘email massages’ that had been exchanged between her and Senator Barack Obama. Yes, you heard it right. The stunning actress is embarrassed due to the onslaught of media attention that zeroed in on comments, she had made about an email relationship with presidential candidate Barack Obama. Scarlett Johansson wants to make one thing clear- she does not have an email relationship with presidential hopeful Barack Obama! Scarlett, 23, told Associated Press,

It seemed to me to be like a product of extreme sexism, and I kept thinking to myself, ‘God, if this was just, like, Kal Penn or George Clooney or any of the other [Obama] surrogates or supporters ... there wouldn’t be [any] question about it. Nobody would even talk about it.

According to Obama camp, Johansson had sent an e-mail to his assistant, who forwarded it to the presumed Democratic nominee, and that was the extent of it. Johansson is supporting Obama. More than once she was seen rallies, campaigns supporting Obama.
