Okay, before you drop to your knees and say a hundred Hail Mary’s hoping that God may have mercy on poor old Amy Winehouse’s soul, lemme tell you that the troubled singer’s new addiction ain’t a drug or drink.

Instead, the Rehab singer is currently addicted to ironing. Yes ladies and gents, the Grammy-winner is getting over her drug addiction by ironing the hell out of everything she can lay her hands on.

A source close to the performer revealed,

Amy has become absolutely obsessed with ironing things. Not just her clothes but also her towels, sheets, scarves, anything really. She’s a very obsessive person and has always been addicted to something… all the others have been rather more destructive apart from knitting… but ironing is definitely her new favorite.

We would really congratulate Amy on her newfound hobby and her newfound strength but alas, we too have heard the rumors which report that Amy still hasn’t given up the dirty stuff and was found snorting quite a few rounds of it at a friend’s party recently!

What is even worse is that the 24-year old is also allegedly delaying work on her new album and she was also kicked off the list of performers for Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual Costume Institute Charity Gala as well.

Oh dear, if she’d get addicted to her work for a few decades!
