Continuing its domination of the British movie circles, war drama “Atonement” secured nominations in seven categories at the35th Annual Evening Standard British Film Awards’. The film was nominated for Best Picture award alongside “Blue Blood”, “Control”, “Hallam Foe” and “It’s A Free World”.
The romance starring Keira Knightley and James McAvoy also received nominations for their performances in the movie in Best Actress and Best Actor categories respectively.
The movie also received nods in Best Screenplay, Best Technical Achievement for costume design, Most Promising Newcomer and Best Film Score categories.
The winners’ list will be published in the Evening Standard on February 4.
