Superman Returns star Brandon Routh is glad to be a gay icon as the only thing he wants from everybody is to love the spirit of Superman. He says that there is enough of Superman for everybody despite of race, religion and sexuality. His fan followers belongs from different walks of life and he wants Superman to be an icon for everybody. He thinks more people who love its spirit, the better.



Brandon’s gay-friendly status is good for him as director Bryan Singer is openly homosexual.



Brandon has been offered half a million dollars deal by Playboy to pose naked for them; obviously, they are not at all being foolish by offering him such a lucrative deal. In such a scenario, the magazine’s sales will shoot like anything.
