Pop princess Britney Spears is once again in spotlight after her hard partying lifestyle with best buddy hotel heiress Paris Hilton and lack of underwear. This time Spears has been voted as the World’s Worst Celebrity Dog Owner for 2006- according to an online vote by readers of two dog magazines.
Pop diva Brit was scrutinized for three months by the readers of The New York Dog and The Hollywood Dog.
Hilary O’Hagan, editor of The New York Dog and The Hollywood Dog magazines, said,
Britney was the overwhelming choice. She once had three Chihuahuas ... and never left home without at least one of them on her arm. As soon as she met K-Fed and had kids, they (the dogs) disappeared.
Best buddy Paris Hilton 2005’s ‘worst’ winner, comes second for treating her dogs like accessories.
Whereas Oprah Winfrey was voted this year’s best celebrity dog owner. She owns five dogs. Oprah beat out 2005 winner Joss Stone.
