It is said that a lawsuit filed by Bruce Willis against his long term friend has been settled and Bruce Willis and Bruce DiMattia resolved their dispute amicably.
DiMattia was hired to maintain Willis personal items and memorabilia, of extortion and violation of privacy.
The lawsuit claimed DiMattia ‘was overcome by greed and jealous of his former friend’s success’ and threatened to disclose personal information about the star unless Willis bought him a car and paid him 100,000 dollars.
It is said that the lawsuit was based on half truths. According to a statement,

The lawyer who put together the lawsuit against me didn’t know exactly what I was hired to do for Willis and didn’t bother to find out before he fired his defamatory atom bomb at me. There, you will learn that my agreement with Willis had absolutely nothing to do with photos and the accusations made about photos in the lawsuit were completely fabricated so as to make me appear to the world like a scumbag, which I am not. I am a reputable university professor of utmost integrity and honor with impeccable credentials. If I were you, Mr. Editor, I’d have my reporters do a little research before printing accusations made in a lawsuit as if they were truth, something we avoid in this land of the free where everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
