The suspense still continues regarding the cause of sudden demise of former Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith in Florida last week. And the drama is getting more heated up for the custody of Smith’s infant daughter Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, who could inherit up to half of Marshall’s $1.6 billion fortune. And there is a list of people claiming her. It’s easy to know the reason for this fuss.
The autopsy carried out has not yet determined the cause of death. Dr. Joshua Perper, the medical examiner, who carried out the autopsy on Anna, suggests almost three to five weeks getting over with all the tests. Anna had 10 different medications at the side of the bed which ware found later on. These were reported to be the medicines accorded after her two breast surgeries. She had these surgeries to correct a difficulty caused by an earlier surgery. Some people think an “improper mix’ of the medicines to be the cause of her death. However, the surprising fact is that no pills were found in her stomach.
It appears that the odds are growing as to who exactly might be the father of Dannielynn. Howard K. Stern, Anna Nicole’s companion, has returned to the Bahamas to care for Dannielynn. Stern says he would fight Anna’s mother Virgie Arthur, to gain protective custody of the child because Anna detested her. California photographer Larry Birkhead, who also confidently claims to be her father, is also rounding a court battle for paternity tests. He had also posted a tribute to Anna Nicole on his website at the weekend. It read, “Chance brought us together, our love couldn’t keep us apart’.
And the list doesn’t end here. Anna’s half-sister Donna Hogan is also lining up to claim her late billionaire husband as the father of the baby girl. Astonishing! Isn’t it? Money can make people crazy. However, till the reports are out, Dannielynn’s fate hangs on.
