It seems the legal authorities are tired of charging celebrities for drug addiction and its illegal possession. Recently George Michael was arrested with the dangerously addictive crack cocaine and weed. But soon he was released with just a few words of caution. I must remind you that this is not the first time George has been caught red-handed. Despite that, he was dealt with leniently and let off with a warning. I feel it’s getting quite common for top celebrities to be getting on the wrong side of law and the police have ceased to treat them as serious offences. The incident, has not disturbed the actor, who once famously said, that his undefeatable career is “like a plastic duck on the water” that will never drown to the deep. Dear George, do remember that a plastic duck can float all it wants on water, but a single hole is enough to drown it out of existence!

I feel so sorry for my fallen hero. I used to idolize him as a teen. Wham was my fav and Wake me up before you go go, was a rage back then. The hot hunk came back with Father Figure and I want to have sex, but his gay overtures were known only when he was caught soliciting in a public restroom. Fame has its price, and the Careless Whispers are being heard now.

I too admired George for his soulful music and the looks he possessed but the revelation that he is/was a gay was something that I couldn’t digest that easily. Drug Possession isn’t that big a shock for it is normal with celebrities.

However now if you think about the past, his split with Andrew Ridgtly (hope his spelling is correct) was quite mysterious. Maybe it had to do something with this. Another of my fav is I’m your man...so horribly ironic!
Just chill chill, just chill ! Radhika we can never guess about the reality of an Hollywood actor or a pop star. They are all alike, engrossed by the drugs and alcohol. Moreover you can’t imagine about their sex life as well. It’s obvious to idiolize him as a teen, but you don’t need to be surpriced with all these. It’s so common.
Sad but true....wasn’t he recently arrested in another bathroom incident as well? Tisk tisk, history repeats when ignorance is worshipped.
That’s why addiction is called addiction Oscar. It knows no barrier between the addict and his addiction, even if you fall under any police case or cover the headlines for wrong reasons. Moreover history repeats when ignorance is worshipped- as you have said.

It’s a dazzling star that makes u utterly happy, but burns u completely. Goes to show, money most definitly does not cure all ills - on the contrary money invites more of ills! Too much of money can only make one fall prey to all such bad habits. It can bring fame and luxury but at the cost of deteriorating health and a miserable death at the end.
