Jessica fake-smiles Simpson brought out her blondest best so-happy-to-see-you face to the Dillard’s Stonebriar Centre yesterday to promote her signature accessory line, the Jessica Simpson Collection. In case no one could have guessed who had designed the ‘affordable’ swimwear, candy-colored stilettos, tacky platforms, even tackier ballet flats, and ‘haute-couture’ hobos and tote bags, JS flashed her industrial-strength-tooth-bleach smile all over the place, making up for the lack of light in the store.
Dedicated fans of the pop chanteuse who were starry eyed enough to spend $75 or more on the purchase of an item from the collection got a chance to line up and meet with JS and get her autograph. I wonder what was more torturing: realizing you just blew 100 bucks on a really crappy accessory or having to sit through 5-minutes of incessant of whispering blonde-celebrity-small talk!
