Queen of pop Madonna seems to be inspired by director hubby Guy Ritchie as she is planning to direct a movie and that to a boxing film. Huh! Madonna directing boxing film!!!!!
Madonna’s new boxing film entitled ‘Blade To The Heat,’ will tell the real life story of boxing rivals Emile Griffith and Benny ‘Kid’ Paret. Paret died at the age of 25, in his last boxing fight with Emile Griffith.
Madge’s company Maverick Entertainment is reportedly behind the film and it is believed that pop star won’t be seen on the silver screen now onwards as she will only direct film.
I wonder who she will cast as Benny ‘Kid’ Paret and Emile Griffith. I think she should take some guidelines from Sylvester Stallone who starred and directed Rocky Balboa.
