It is rather hard to believe that the ‘King of Pop’ has turned fifty yesterday, the 29th of August. The Black or White star whose legendary dancing and musical talent has captivated one and all looks very youthful even today. I really like the dignity and grace with which the “We are The World” artist has ushered in old age.
Michael Jackson spoke to Good Morning America on the eve of this occasion. Hearing that he is having a wonderful time and relaxing on this special occasion can be very reassuring to his die-hard fans. He says he can still do his famous dance moves and much more than that. He feels wise and youthful. Did you ever guess that he was the happiest when the Thriller and Off the Wall were released? I am privileged to convey that I grew up listening to his favorite numbers, Billy Jean, We are the World and Thriller. You can expect to see him coming up with a lot of great things. I can guarantee some great music and mind blowing performances to be one of those great things. He says he loves writing and composing.
The Heal the World messenger loves his children and enjoys raising them. I used to feel sorry for him on hearing about all those child molestation charges some years ago.
I see many celebrities from showbiz going into oblivion after their prime years but Michael Jackson is one of the few celebs who seems to be undaunted by ageing. Well, he has seen such a lot in life- superstardom, scandals and a very disturbing legal prosecution too! Maybe the diversity has taught him to take life as it comes.

Looking youthful is more about surgeries than a natural skin tone. We here at insta have an interesting debate going on that question his current iconic status. Sadly a majority of people believe that he isn’t the icon he was anymore. This may sound rude at his fiftieth birthday but it is still a hard truth which no one can deny.
Thanks Atul for your remarks. But I feel youthful looks is not about surgeries only, you should feel good from within and Jackson was feeling that way on the eve of his fiftieth birthday. People’s tastes change, but I still feel that Jackson will remain an icon...can you show another singer like him with such exceptional dancing skills? Jackson still rocks and he will for some more time to come!
LOl-Were you there to assess his internal feelings_No offence intended1!The fact is that he has lost the charisma he once possessed. He made the world dance to his numbers but he went array at one point of time in his career. Take for instance a Madonna, who still manages to sizzle at this age. She also turned fifty pretty recently. You have to go on to keep the vibe going. The world of celebs forgives none and Michael is no exception.
@ Atul
Well, I do agree to what all you say to a certain extent, but I wish to differ to a certain extent too. First of all, obviously I was not there to assess his internal feelings, but his interview with the media conveyed that. Secondly ups and downs are a part of the lives and careers of all celebs, so why single out Jacko? Thirdly, I personally don’t have anything against Madonna but finding someone sizzling is a matter of personal choice. Lastly, Jackson introduced a new form of dance. I don’t think Madonna gave anything new. She is a talented performed that’s all.
