Penelope Cruz, who was seen just with Olivier just hours after the relationship between Kylie and Olivier ended has slammed rumors that she is dating French actor. She says that she has been a ‘rock’ for Olivier in the wake of his break off.
The two ‘friends’ were spotted last week at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont Hotel just 12 hours after the split. Cruz insists that she was only offering Martinez a shoulder to cry on, as the two have been friends for several years.
She was quoted saying,
Olivier and I have been friends for seven years. We are very close. You can understand it’s a difficult time for him right now, so I have been there for him to offer support. And it was lovely seeing him the other day - it has been such a long time.
The ‘Volver’ actress, who feels that Olivier, 41, is a ‘charming man’ ,explains that there was nothing wrong with the lingering embrace the two shared at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont hotel. She said,
He is a great guy, but no, nothing happened.
If something as innocent as this had to be done, where was the need to check into a hotel. They could have done it anywhere outside.
