Hollywood actress Tara Reid has now come up with her exclusive bikini and casual wear range ‘mantra’. A self confessed charm bracelet patron, her signature collection too comes decorated with trinkets, charms and beads in eight vibrant colors that she claims, inspire emotions. The entire range is tagged at $65-$180. The lady has this to say about her new venture,
It’s about putting into the universe what you want in life: Red means love, pink is friendship, green is lucky, black is protection, you’re going to have a story when you wear this bikini or when you put this dress on: You’ll either get love or meet a new friend or you might meet a guy. I feel like I’m in a really great place in my life, and I love what I’m doing. I love acting but I can’t hire myself. If this works, then we’re in business. If not, I tried.
Though Tara might ‘love’ her new adventure, she is yet to find a suitable retailer for making her collection available for purchase by early next year. While critics don’t rule out the possibility of a flop show, Tara is so optimistic about the entire project that she is all out in search of a suitable retailer. So, now Tara’s ‘mantra’ should be to hope for the best but also be prepared for the worst.

It is quite become a routine with celebrities. Movies make you popular and then that popularity is used to promote undies and bundies. After all that is what you call a brand value!!! Reid certainly sounds optimistic with her color explanation and I hope that her project doesn’t leave her heartbroken. The good thing though is that she doesn’t thrive on tantrums to become popular, at least she has put in an effort.
Hi Atul
Thanks for reading
Yes, but the star must maintain that brand value. Actrress Rani Mukherjee was the brand ambassador of Nestle’s chocolate Munch, but was dropped after she failed to deliver hits. So this thing can become a possibility with Tara Reid.

Hi there Wordspark...It is not necessary that a famous celebrity will make for a famous line of clothes as well. They are celebrities for they act brilliantly and entertain people. But all this does not mean that they would induce people into buying what they adore. Choices cannot be driven by what your favorite celeb adores. Clothing can still be an acceptable domain but to eat a chocolate is purely a matter of choice.
Thank you for the reply, but dear Atul, celebs are used for ads precisely to induce people into buying what they endorse (not adore!). If that does not happen then they have no brand value. And in the ad, Rani eats chocolate to advertise it,and not as a matter of personal choice. You seem to be contradicting yourself. Regards.
