Sharon Stone apologized once again to people who have taken her remarks against the Chinese government bitterly. At the Cannes’ Film Festival she lashed at the Chinese government for mistreating the Dalai Lama and the suppression of the Tibetans movement for freedom. What provoked the wrath was her remark that she wondered if bad things happened to people with bad karma referring to the tragic earthquake which killed tens of thousands of Chinese people recently.
Stone has been banned from visiting Chinese film festivals and many movie halls have decided to stop screening her movies permanently. Sharon Stone has apologized several times after the infamous remark she made and has blamed the media for sensationalizing the story.

Stone banned from visiting Chinese film festivals? Hmmm I wonder if bad things happen to people with bad karma..
Is she trying to enter the politics thru such immature remarks. sharon stone would be much better off by concentrating on decling career. Has she producced any worth mentoning filck other than Basic Instinct?
She said something so she did.. we all say a lot of c*** but I guess people must not take each other so seriously. It is really hard for anybody to be politically correct all the time. What annoys me is the amount of publicity it has generated... Something so trivial. Isnt it more important to publicize the destruction of infrastructure and the damage caused by the earthquake? I don’t see it in the newspapers anymore.. But we see insignificant comments made by celebrities blown out of proportions so that the newspapers sell well.
