Rockstar Joel Madden and actress Hillary Duff’s rapport didn’t work out so the duo broke up. The pair had association for more than two years, according to PEOPLE.
Steve Feinberg, the band’s manager says,
I can indeed confirm that Joel is single. We are not going to elaborate on Joel’s personal life but I will say they have split.
Madden made a guest DJ appearance at a Chicago hot spot Enclave where he confirmed to fellow clubbers that he and Duff had split up and cited their eight-year age difference as the source of the problems in their relationship. Duff is 19, while Madden is 27 years old.
Duff and Madden began dating in August 2004. The pair was hesitant to make their romance public at first due to the fact that Hilary was still a minor when they started seeing each other.
