
Late Kung-Fu master Bruce Lee is all set to have a park themed after him at his ancestral home in Shunde, China. The foundation laying ceremony took place last Sunday.
Lee’s younger brother Robert and Actress Betty Ting Pei, who donated a pair of nunchuks used by Lee were present at this ceremony.
The park is estimated to cost 200 million Chinese Yuan. Wong Yiu-keung the chairman of Bruce Lee Fan Club, Hong Kong said that it was still unclear as to who was funding the park. He also told the Associated press that the park would have a martial arts academy and a conference center.
There are also news about a roller coaster with Bruce Lee signature screams and shouts at the bends and dips, being part of park plans.
Bruce Lee was a US born who shifted to Hong Kong as a kid, he shot to fame with movies like Fist of Fury and Enter the Dragon.
At the age of 32 he died of cerebral edema owing to an allergic reaction to a headache pill.
