William Shatner is too upset on being ignored for the new Star Trek movie. Shatner says he can’t understand why he wasn’t asked to make a cameo.
Poor Shatner has been dumped from the project while old pal Leonard Nimoy, who plays Vulcan Mr. Spock, will be the part of the sci-fi film.
Shatner told Extra, ‘How could you not put one of the founding figures into a movie that was being resurrected? That doesn’t make good business sense to me.
I’ve become even more popular than I was playing Captain Kirk. I’m good box office and I get publicity. But, they are going in a different direction and it’ll be a wonderful film.’
The new movie stars Chris Pines as a young Kirk, Zachary Quinto as a young Spock, and British actor Simon Pegg as engineer Scotty.
